The 135th Canton Fair was held on April 15, 2024 in Guangzhou, China. Ledes, with its highly anticipated products, arrived as scheduled.

About the 135th Canton Fair:
The 135th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was held in Guangzhou from April 15th to May 5th, 2024. The exhibition covered a total area of 1.55 million square meters, with 55 exhibition zones. There were approximately 74,000 booths in total (72,000 for export and 1,557 for import), with 29,000 participating companies (28,600 for export and 680 for import). Among them, there were over 4,300 new participating companies, and 680 companies participated in the import exhibition of the Canton Fair. There were 2,606 brand enterprises and over 5,500 high-quality characteristic enterprises with titles such as national high-tech enterprises, manufacturing industry champions, and specialized and new “Little Giants,” representing a 20% increase compared to the previous edition. Over 4,300 new participating companies were present, and the proportion of private enterprises increased to 91%. It was estimated that over 1 million new products, 450,000 green and low-carbon products, and 250,000 products with independent intellectual property rights would be exhibited. The import exhibition covered an area of 30,000 square meters, with 680 international companies participating from 50 countries and regions, including 64% from countries involved in the “Belt and Road” initiative.
The 135th Canton Fair offline exhibition was divided into 13 sections and 55 exhibition zones. The first phase included sections for electronics and household appliances, industrial manufacturing, vehicles and motorcycles, lighting and electrical, and hardware and tools. The second phase included sections for household products, gifts and decorations, and building materials and furniture. The third phase included sections for toys and baby products, fashion products, household textiles, stationery, and health and leisure products. The online platform showcased the same themes as the offline exhibition.
About the second phase of the Canton Fair:
The second phase of the Canton Fair showcased three professional sections: Building Materials and Furniture, Household Products, and Gifts and Decorations. It consisted of a total of 15 exhibition zones, further emphasizing the concept of “home furnishing” and better meeting the public’s demand for upgraded consumption and a better quality of life.
The offline exhibition of the second phase covered a total area of 515,000 square meters, with 24,658 booths and 9,820 participating companies. Among them, there were 936 brand enterprises of the Canton Fair, as well as over 1,400 high-quality characteristic exhibitors, including specialized and new “Little Giants,” manufacturing industry champions, and national high-tech enterprises. The online platform featured approximately 1.08 million uploaded products.
The Building Materials and Furniture section covered nearly 140,000 square meters, with 6,448 booths and 3,049 participating companies. The Household Products section covered over 170,000 square meters, with 8,281 booths and 3,642 participating companies. The Gifts and Decorations section covered nearly 200,000 square meters, with 9,371 booths and 3,740 participating companies. Each section reached the scale of a large professional exhibition, allowing for better showcasing and promotion of the entire industry chain. This not only enhances the appeal to buyers by facilitating one-stop procurement and improving supply and procurement matching efficiency but also promotes industry exchanges, cooperation, and collaborative development, creating more business opportunities.
The second phase of the Canton Fair Import Exhibition featured 220 companies from 30 countries and regions. This included exhibition groups from eight countries: Turkey, South Korea, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, Egypt, and Japan. These groups focused on displaying products such as kitchenware, household items, gifts, and promotional items. Among them, there were 144 companies from 18 “Belt and Road” countries, including South Korea, Turkey, Egypt, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Ghana, and others, accounting for approximately 65% of the total.
